Purchase: Bought it at the Lammles stall at Sprucemeadows Masters 2010. The lady at the store said it was a tough blanket and fit most horses really well. It was on sale for $99 and it came with a free matching hood, so for that price I was sold!
Likes: It fits my 16.1hh thoroughbred x really well actually I got a 78 and it has lots of room in the shoulders, and comes up higher on the chest which I really like. The buckles on the front those snaps that have the adjustable length and two D rings on the other side, so you can really customize the fit. The 2100D material is actually very thick and tough. my horse walks the fence line constantly even though hes in a field with other horses to play with. the blankets material stood up well to this and has only got scratch marks on it so far after 2 months of wear.
Dislikes: The actually construction of the blanket is awful the seam that runs along the bottom part of the blanket just kinda fell apart after only two days of use. The hood that came free with the blanket was only a 600D material so it has rips underneath the neck where my horse turns around on the fence. its a good thing that i have a good sewing machine that could reinforce the seams along both sides of the blanket.
Quality: Construction was terrible the blanket would be 100% if the stitching didn't just fall apart straight away!
Quality of the materials were good and the blanket had some really great features.
Summary: Great fitting blanket and the material was super tough, but for someone who doesn't have a sewing machine to fix the mistakes the manufacture has made then this is the wrong blanket for you. I would definitely recommend this blanket to someone who needs a really cheap blanket that has super tough material, but you better reinforce all of the seams on the blanket before you even put it on your horse.
