Purchase: I bought this quarter sheet at a tack store sale for $40, (it retails for around $80).
Likes: I love the color, (a gorgeous lavender navy plaid). I get so many compliments on it! I love the warmth, yet light weight of the wool too!
Dislikes: My horse usually wears a 78, sometimes 80, and while the sheet is only slightly long for her, it slides around. The first time I rode in it, (with the sheet over my legs), it drove both my horse and me insane, since it would slide back and every few strides I'd have to pull it forward again. I'm hoping it will be much better under the saddle flaps.
Quality: The quality and construction seem great.
Summary: I love this sheet but I wish it would stay put, instead of slide around. It would probably be fine when used under the saddle flaps, but then my legs don't get the extra warmth! Overall, I would recommend it to others, but only for use under the flaps or on a larger horse.
