Purchase: I bought two of these blankets for $39.95 from Jeffers. They regularly retail for $69.95 + and it was during an after Thanksgiving sale. I have other Weatherbeeta horse blankets but hadn't had the time to repair/wash them in time for winter and just decided to buy new ones until I can repair/wash the others, as the weather has been getting colder/rainy.
Likes: These blankets are AWESOME! They are thick, sturdy and fit decent. They look as if they will last for a long time :)
Dislikes: I do wish they came down a little longer on the sides to fully cover the belly. A belly band would've been nicer. They don't have velcro on the front chest flaps...which is different...would rather have velcro to reinforce the front.
Quality: This blanket is built sturdy. Has 1200 ripstop denier and 300 grams? (not sure) fill for warmth. It is waterproof and windproof. It breathes and has two cross surcingles, two adjustable front buckles with snaps instead of fixed attachments (which is different, yet practical). No velcro at chest to close the flaps. It has leg straps and a tail flap. Fleece at withers and only comes in black/light blue (or at least only choice at this store).
Summary: For $39.95 I can't complain too much. Nice blanket and tough for the money. I will gladly buy more in the future. It is made by Weatherbeeta and is sure to please.
