Purchase: Ordered this saddle through my saddle Fitter Patty Merli after trying countless other saddles to fit my wide backed mare
Likes: I love EVERYTHING about this saddle! I tried a few other Black country models including the Quantum and Wexford which both were amazing but you can't beat the closeness of a monoflap saddle. This saddle is COMPLETELY customizable down to the color of the leather. I ordered mine on a different tree, with different stirrup bars, sege panels and custom two tone leather for NO EXTRA CHARGE. This saddle is significantly less them other "custom" saddles and the quality is much better! Andddd It only takes 4 weeks to arrive!!
Dislikes: Nothing I completely love this saddle It couldn't be better all black country products are amazing quality.
Quality: Amazingly constructed the leather is so buttery soft and the Vintage leather requires no break in time! Schrumph seat is amazing it keeps you tight in the saddle! I would highly suggest the schrumph seat and vintage leather if your thinking of ordering a black country.
Summary: The price may sting a bit in the beginning but you will be really glad you bought a black country! Where else are you going to get a fully custom saddle for $3100?? I also highly suggest using Patty Merli as your saddle fitter. She did a great job for Sydney and I!
