Purchase: I found these in SmartPak. My calves are quite wide and one of my ankles is quite large after a break last year so I'm hard to fit. These seemed to have the stretch I needed. One of the pictures in SmartPak shows the chaps gapping at the heel and I'm puzzled how that happened, as with the elastic at the top of the foot they should not gap at the heel. Mine don't.
Likes: I am so pleased with these half chaps! The leather is very high quality - soft yet durable with great grip. The stitching is very well done and the elastic panels keep these fitting whether I'm wearing them over 1 pair of summer breeches or 2 pairs of winter breeches. Love how these fit!
Dislikes: There's nothing I don't like about these half chaps.
Quality: These are very well made. I like the zippers on these over other half chaps in that I was able to get these zippers started with my hand/grip issues.
