Purchase: Stateline tack had this saddle for $599 before they switched the the convertible line of saddles. It came with a saddle cover also. Needed a new saddle as my old one did not fit me or my horse anymore
Likes: I love the deep seat for flat work. It holds you securely in the seat unlike alot of other saddles. The leather is of good quality and is very grippy. There are a lot of extra rings to tie off to on this saddle which actually made it good for trail rides too even though it is meant to be a show/arena saddle. It did not squeak even when new.
Dislikes: The pommel is very high on the saddle which limits the number of horses that it will fit. It does have a bit too deep of a seat to do any jumping over 2 foot but for small jumps and flat it is fine
Quality: Very high quality for the price. Collegiate is a high quality manufacture for much less than other brands of saddles
Summary: Great saddle for anyone who rides flat classes- really holds your leg in position with thigh and knee blocks and a big knee roll.
