Purchase: I traded with a local woman, my draft saddle that was too big for my haflinger for her Abetta Endurance that was too small for her draft cross. It was an even trade and both parties were happy and content with the transaction.
Likes: This saddle is just one of those saddles you lift onto the horse and it fits like a glove. It works for both of my geldings, one a chunky quarter horse and the other a stocky/drafty haflinger. It is very comfortable for me to ride in and I feel safe and secure. I love that it's light weight and you can wipe it off with a damp cloth. People claim to be able to hose off, which I have not dared try yet. I like the dee rings in the front for a breast collar.
Dislikes: I do not like the constant jingle of all the rings on the back of the saddle. I could easily do without those, but they probably work well for people who attach alot of stuff and ride for extended periods of time.
Quality: Overall, I like the construction and the look of this saddle. My boys look very handsome in it. It's the black and brown two tone. HOWEVER, one of the front conchos (where the keeper is for the cinch) is coming apart. I can see there are MANY large staples that were used to attach it originally and they have simply pulled out. UGHHH!! How in the world am I ever going to fix that? It's only one issue but I am currently looking for another synthetic saddle and this is keeping me from buying another Abetta.
Summary: This could easily be my all time favorite saddle were it not for the front concho coming apart.
Usefulness Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
