Purchase: This saddle I had purchased was from off of Ebay. I had been thinking of buying a saddle for a little while and when I came across this saddle I really liked the looks and style of it so I bid on it. I really wasn't sure whether I should of bid or not, not knowing how well of a saddle it would be and being a first time buyer on ebay I was a bit scared. I went ahead a bid anyway. I finally ended up winning the bid at $600, plus shipping I paid a little over $600 for it. I thought I done a great job at buying a saddle that I wasn't wanting to pay a lot of money for.
Likes: Like I said before I like the looks and style of this saddle and the description helped me to decide on this saddle. The leather, looking from the picture that I saw, was of very good quality. The pictures doesn't give it justice. Looking at it after I had received it I really liked the quality of leather and the stitching looked very good as well, all in all a very well made saddle. I was very skeptic about the turned leather straps on the stirrups but I really like this feature as well. Having them already turned some, has made it much easier on the knees. It has been a great saddle and very comfortable. I live in that saddle for 9 hours a day seven days a week and i have no complaints about it.
Dislikes: About the only thing I don't like about this saddle is it's 5" horn cap, for myself it's to big for the work that I do. But for anyone roping they may like it just fine.
Quality: Construction of this saddle is great. The leather looks of high quality. The brass D rings look nice and sturdy as well, stitching is great all the way around the saddle. Tooling looks great as well. I have not found any flaws in it since I had been using it.
Summary: I am very pleased with this saddle, being the very first one I had ever bought for myself. I have had no problems with it not fitting any of my horses. I have heard from several that these wade saddles are the best and for my first wade I have to agree. I am hoping to purchase another one in the near future and I will be looking at these saddles again.
