Purchase: I bought this product at Dover for $25, but in Canada, where I live, they're usually $30+ at Greenhawks.
I got these bell boots because I wanted a pair of bell boots that wouldn't fall apart after a few months, & would protect my horse from over reaching, which he is prone to do.
Likes: I liked the "No-turn" bump at the back of the bell boot. I found that it really did stop them from turning.
Dislikes: I will NEVER buy these bell boots again!
The sizes it came in weren't a perfect fit for my horse, but I really wanted a pair, so I picked the small since the medium was way too big on him.
I rode in these bell boots for maybe 3 days, for 2 hours a day, before I noticed the blood.
Right where the top of the bell boot was touching my horses fetlock, he had been rubbed raw.
My horse has very hair legs, because of his breed, which is the reason I didn't notice the rubs right away.
I also found them extremely over priced.
Quality: The construction of the bell boots were good, and the quality was fair.
Summary: I asked my coach about the bell boots, & she told me that other people she knows who have had them have had issues with them rubbing. Her thoughts were that they only fit a small group of horses, & most of the ones shes seen, they haven't fit very well.
