Purchase: I ordered this product online from Schneiders Saddlery in 2008. I paid about $140 for it; it was on sale during the off-season.
Likes: 1680 denier - it is very durable. My horse goes out with two other horses and they have been known to destroy each other's blankets. The outside of this blanket has held up very well, including the hooks and buckles. I also like that I can send it back to Schneiders each year for cleaning at a reasonable price.
Dislikes: It looks long in the front but that doesn't impact the performance of the blanket. Also, where the sides meet in the front, at my horse's chest, there is a velcro strip underneath the buckles. This velcro does not stay fastened as well as I would like.
Quality: Very good overall. The blanket seems to be warmer than others in my barn but my horse does not get overheated in it. It has also held up better than others in my barn.
Summary: Bottom line, I like this product and will look at it again when I need to buy another blanket.
