Purchase: Got them from adamshorsesupply.com. Paid $89.95 new
Likes: Not a whole heck of a lot other then the color matches my Bates saddle.
Dislikes: These stirrup leathers suck. They are apparently stretch less but i am officially on the last hole (of the 54") and am needing to punch more holes in them. They have rubbed by saddle and are just not very nice quality leather. When i first got them, the packaging they were in got stuck to the sides of the leathers because they have some weird sticky substance on them. The leathers are extremely hard to oil as they don't absorb the oil. They are light weight but i even prefer a heavier weight stirrup leather compared to these. Overall, i just hate them.
Quality: Construction sucks and the quality isn't there. I would have expected better from Bates seeing as though the saddle itself is awesome. The fittings on the other hand.. not so much.
Summary: On the whole, if you are buying a Bates saddle, get stirrup leather from a different manufacturer. Bates company cheeped out on this product.
