Purchase: Got it from adamshorsesupply.com free with the purchase of a Bates saddle. Otherwise it retails for $305
Likes: The leather is nice and easy to clean (on the top) and it is a beautiful color. It is also a rather large girth (wide) so it relieves pressure points on your horse's belly.
Dislikes: There is no elastic on either end of the saddle, there for it is very hard to girth up. I got a 52" and it ran small so it didn't fit my horse at all. The underside of the girth (the CAIR part) is extremely hard to clean if sand, dust or dirt gets into it. The girth also rubbed my horse's armpits the first time i used it on her and i've never had a girth rub her before. The girth is huge, which relieves pressure points as i stated above, but it is also very hard to pack if you are going to a show. It is super bulky and it barely bends.
Quality: The construction is fantastic, but the quality sucks. No elastic, and it is extremely bulky. I wouldn't recommend getting this girth unless you get two sizes up.
Summary: I would never purchase this girth again, and i don't think you should purchase it ever.
