Purchase: I bought this helmet from a local cowboy apparel shop. I paid $65-70
Likes: This helmet fit my head, and was fairly comfortable.
Dislikes: I didn't like the dial fit system on this helmet, or the 'shell' that covered it. I also disliked how the helmet was just like a bike helmet inside.
Quality: The Troxel Legacy is poorly constructed and horrible quality. The top shell scratched so easily, and I took very good care of it. The top shell that is taped on fell off with about 6 months in total riding time of use. The dial fit gets jammed very easily, and if I fell on the back of my head, the dial fit system would break off. Though ASTM certified, in reality, this helmet is not very safe or practical in real riding life.
Summary: The experience that I had with this item makes me never want to buy a troxel item again. This is a low quality helmet that will not last.
