Purchase: I bought this helmet from Dover Saddlery for about $50 to replace my old sportage, which I got from The Warf for the same price.
Likes: When I went in to buy my first one, the sales lady said that the Troxels were the most popular they had, but she recommended the Tipperarys. I could totally see why! I LOVE this helmet! Not only is it very lightweight (I have actually forgotten that I had it on), it is also very ventilated. It protects your head so well. I can not tell you how many times I've had a head meets tree, head meets fence, head meets pole, head meets rock, or a head meets ground moment while wearing this helmet. Every single time I have walked away just fine because of this helmet! It also doesn't make your head hot. I live in Southern California and our ranches get VERY hot during the summer. This helmet is great for that. It also fits your head very well. It won't slip around when you're riding! I won't wear anything else!
Dislikes: NOTHING! This helmet is wonderful!
Quality: Bottom line, it is VERY well made. I have nothing more to say.
Summary: All in all, a great helmet for a great price! Once you go Tipperary, you will never go back!
