Purchase: I just bought a new Pessoa saddle in Havana and I was looking for quality leathers that would match well. I came across these at Dover Saddlery about a week or two ago for $90.
Likes: At first, these leathers were a little stiff, but I could tell that they were quality leathers. After riding in them maybe 5 times, they are becoming nice and supple. They feel amazing and look great with my saddle! They have numbered holes from 1 to 12 so you know where to set your stirrup length. The buckles are nice and flat, which is great for less bulk. They have reinforced buckle leather which looks really strong.
Dislikes: There really isn't anything I don't like about these leathers. I mean, there are things that would be nice to have, but I have no complaints with them. It would have been nice to have half hole leathers, but it's not necessary and I don't mind not having them.
Quality: The stitching looks really strong, and the leather is fantastic. After a handful of uses the leather is starting to feel like really top notch leather! I haven't had them long at all, but by the looks of it these leathers will be lasting me many years.
Summary: These are fantastic leathers! If I hadn't known how much these were, I would've thought they were $150! They're a steal at only $90! What are you waiting for? Get these amazing leathers for your saddle!
