Purchase: Purchased online from Dover Saddlery for $179 to replace a blanket my horse outgrew.
Likes: I've used this for two winters now and it looks like brand new. It fits well, is durable, and beats Rambos hands down in both quality and price.
Dislikes: There is nothing I'd change about this blanket. I love everything! Just wish they'd make the same thing in a turnout sheet.
Quality: The fit, fabric and design are outstanding! It comes in two colors, red (poppy is the term they use) or purple (Dover calls it navy, but it is definitely not), both of which are iridescent and stunning.
The front closures are adjustable buckles that have snaps for easy on and off once adjusted. The velcro on the neck cover is heavy duty and well placed, and the surcingles run through slots on the side of the blanket
Summary: If there were ten instead of five to score this, I'd give it an eleven. Wonderful blanket at an excellent price.
