Purchase: I went to my local Dover Saddlery about a week or two ago after I had gotten my new saddle. I actually wasn't planning on buying a saddle pad, just some stirrup leathers. Then one of the sales people brought out this pad in teal/white/lavender and I just had to have it. It was on sale for $25.
Likes: This is a wonderful saddle pad. It's so soft and padded, unlike many other saddle pads. The color is the same as in the online pictures. I love the fit of it, too! It is slightly contoured so it rests well on the withers. Also, it's nice and big all around, both in length and width. This pad also has wicking properties. Since it's winter, my horse hasn't really been sweating a lot so I'm not sure just how well that works, but I bet it'll be nice since everything else about it is wonderful.
Dislikes: Nothing is bad about this product!
Quality: This saddle pad looks great. The stitching is nice, and forms little star shapes throughout the pad. The piping looks beautiful and is very strong. It is thicker and more padded than normal saddle pads, and my horse loves that!
Summary: I'm so glad that that sales person brought out this saddle pad! I love it to death! If I ever need another saddle pad you can be sure that I'll go buy another of these!
