Model: Eventing Vest
Category: English Miscellaneous
Purchase: I bought this vest used on ebay for about $120, a GREAT deal. Normally they cost about $250. It was barely used and to this day it still looks great. I really needed a vest because I do eventing and I ride a green horse.
Likes: I love the fit of this vest! It's adjustable so it can fit almost anyone. It's so comfortable to wear, by far the most comfortable safety vest out there for a reasonable price. I can still move around all I want in it. When I took a hard spill one time and landed right on my back on hard dirt ground, I felt no pain at all! If I hadn't been wearing this vest that might not have been the case.
Dislikes: The only bad thing about it is that it gets really hot in the summer. It's not even that thick either! I can't imagine how others get by in their bulky protective vests! This isn't a huge deal, and I don't think you can avoid it unless you buy a super expensive vest.
Quality: This vest is VERY well made. It still looks like it's almost brand new, even after wearing it almost every week at Pony Club. It never restrains your movement due to all the little foam blocks working together.
Summary: I love this vest. It is a necessity on the cross country course. If you're an eventer and don't own this vest, go out and buy one!
