Purchase: I bought these chaps on sale from horseloverz.com. I paid about $50 on sale for them, normally $153. My cheap canvas chaps I had bought a few years back were wearing thin and no longer fit well.
Likes: I love them! The sizing options were great so they fit like they were made just for me. My horse can be pretty rough on my chaps rubbing me against the rail many times and the marks all come off and they clean up like new! I prefer these over tall boots because I can flex my ankle perfect, these are what I wear to every schooling show, lesson, trail ride, or schooling day!
Dislikes: The zipper doesn't lock at the bottom so they come up an inch or two during the ride. But it's not a huge deal for me.
Quality: I had to stretch them out like anything leather when I first got it within 2 rides they were a perfect mold of my leg! I have used them every day for months and I'm pretty hard on chaps and they look brand new (that is when I clean the mud off them).
Summary: They're perfect for me and I was amazed they were on sale for the price they were! They're breathable in summer but don't freeze me in our snowy winters and they've held up to my rough daily use so far 100%.
