Purchase: My friend recommended this saddle to me; her had friend had bought it and loved it. I paid $350 including shipping at Tackwholesale. Shipping was fast, within 2 days of my order.
Likes: This is a very pretty saddle, pretty much identical to the picture on the site. It's very comfy and makes balance over jumps easier than my Wintec. I'm quite happy with the way it fits my high-withered TB cross. Though still a bit low, with a wither relief pad and a half pad it's perfect and doesn't cause him discomfort. It also fits a 14.3, big barreled Quarter pony cross, who I ride a lot. She gets very grumpy if the saddle doesn't fit perfectly, but she was cantering easily like a dressage horse in this saddle! The knee rolls are super soft, which I LOVE. From falling off of so many horses, even as a teenager I had back pain with my old saddle. This one fits perfectly and it makes it easy to sit the trot and canter comfortably.
Dislikes: My only complaint is probably that the billets are quite stiff, even for a new saddle, which makes it hard to tighten the girth, especially in cold weather. They are also higher than most, which meant it was a good thing I had a spare girth (my horse used a 46" with my Wintec, now using a 54" though he really needs a 52".)
Quality: The stitching seems to be holding up pretty well, and the leather broke in pretty fast.
Summary: Excellent saddle for the price, especially if you ride a lot of different horses, or have a hard-to-fit high-withered one!
