Manufacturer: Saint Lourdes
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I got this saddle off of craigslist for $500. It was new, with only two rides in it, but it had been for sale for a while hence the price.
Likes: This saddle was so comfortable. It is made specifically for long legged riders and it fit me perfectly. (I'm 5'8" ) I had the 17 but it ran a little bit big, maybe a 17.5. The leather was tough to break in, but the appearance is gorgeous. I got tons of compliments on it. The blocks were very secure.
Dislikes: This saddle runs very narrow. I had the medium tree and it only fit really narrow TB's with flat sides. The flap is forward, and went over the shoulder on some of the other horses I tried it on.
Quality: This saddle is beautiful, and the stitching showed great care. I loved the appearance.
Summary: I loved this saddle, but the narrow tree forced me to sell since I ride a variety of horses.
Usefulness Rating: 0 out of 5.
