Purchase: I saved up a lot, and purchased this with another fellow rider at Stagecoach West for $575.00 plus tax. It came with the wide gullet system. I acquired this particular saddle to fit as many horses as possible, and have it wide enough so the saddle doesn't pinch the horses.
Likes: What isn't there to love?! I love the feel, and have ridden in it for 4 hours in one day for trail riding, it's roomy, doesn't constrict you in any way, has removable velcro knee blocks, and is easy to clean, easy to change the gullet system, nice, and lightweight, and the CAIR panels are very nice!
Dislikes: The billet straps are the biggest unsafe problem. Why you may ask? Because they crack within I don't know how many rides, I looked on the underside of the billet straps, and they're cracked where you bend them to girth up. I've checked with the store where I purchased it from, and they said it's not covered under any guarantee, or anything, so you have to take it to a saddler to get actual leather ones on it so they'll last unlike these synthetic ones, which costs a tremendous amount since the saddle itself was, and still is expensive.
Quality: Very good except for the billet straps so far.
Summary: Even though the billet straps are a huge problem I absolutely love this saddle! It fits any horse! I'm giving this saddle a review number of 4. If only the billet strap issue was fixed it would have gotten a 5.
