Purchase: We bought this saddle 1 month old from a friend of ours for $600, This was in Baldivis WA.
Likes: A good saddle for Prep/Prelim dressage, Easy to care for and fits a wide variety of horses, from broad short backed Arabs, Typical long narrow back high wither TB, Wide long Stockhorse and many more.
Incredibly easy to care for, just a wipe down with a damp sponge before shows, The synthetic material is extremely hardy and doesn't wear much, It is also very resilient to scratches and punctures, so would be ideal for a horse trainer, with many horses to ride.
Dislikes: I don't like that it doesn't have much of support for higher levels of dressage, It sometimes seem like Wintec have taken the 500 G/P and put a straight cut saddle flap on it! It is incredibly hard to maintain a good position in, and offers absolutely no support for sitting trot.
Quality: The panels are fairly wide, so spread the weight well across the horses back, but the seat is not really designed for Dressage offering limited support. The quality of the Materials is high, they are tough, durable and long wearing, however the design of the saddle itself has no real thought or reasoning behind it.
Summary: A cheap hard wearing saddle to suit low level dressage, Breaking and Lunging and trail riding. High Quality materials however, Low Quality design.
