Purchase: I bought my saddle direct from the manufacturer, Frontier Equestrian in MO.
The price was $275.00
I called them and talked to one of the owners who was extremely knowledgeable and
over the phone I was able to order just what I needed with no problem what so ever.
When I told him about the horse I'd be using it on, he knew just the right one to send, no wither tracing was required, making the process so much quicker (and not nearly as complicated as I'd been told when trying to deal with another company & getting nowhere.)

When I ordered my saddle I was informed that Yes, it's an import...from BRAZIL.
The leather is beautiful, supple and thick, the quality is excellent.
It fits my horse perfectly, and a couple of our others as well. And, it fits me perfectly and is very comfortable.
I've ridden Western stock saddles all my life and at 60 yrs. was looking for a narrower seat and freer stirrup leathers due to hip problems. This saddle works!
Dislikes: Can't think of a thing.
Quality: The quality and construction is the best part. The manufacturer is wise in outsourcing via Brazil. Their leather is top quality and Brazil being a more horse/livestock oriented country seems to be a great source for the manufacture of good equipment. The leather is beautiful, supple and thick. I did give it a good dressing with Obernaufs and made it even softer. It came with a nice fleece lined cinch, I opted for their adjustable girth which is very nice and has elastic as well.
Summary: Nice people to deal with, (they also sell on ebay) Their price is more than fair for the product. The Bushmaster I have is comparable to any of the other really GOOD imported models out there.
