Purchase: I bought this for my horse when I read that antacids can help stop cribbing. Apparently horses sometimes crib because of painful acids in their stomach, so I thought I'd give this a try. I think it was about $30 for a one month supply.
Likes: My horse loved this stuff! We mixed it into his food and he always picked it out first. It was easy to give to him with the helpful scoop and did last a month. I didn't really see a difference in his cribbing or other behaviors, though. It seems like a great ulcer preventative though.
Dislikes: This product didn't seem to work for my horse's cribbing problem, but that's probably not the product's fault.
Quality: The type we got were little green pellets that had alfalfa in them. They were neat and easy to measure and mix into my horse's grain. They came in a nice tub that was easy to open and kept them safe. They were really tasty in my horse's opinion, too!
Summary: Well, this didn't stop my horse from cribbing, but I think it's a great product anyway. We didn't keep him on it because he has no other stomach issues, but if you want an ulcer preventative, you should buy this! It's cheap and horses love it!
