Purchase: I bought this saddle used on Ebay for 2000 dollars.
Likes: I had ridden in Antares before I bought mine, and I was just waiting for a good deal on a used one, and now that I have it I love it! It's a gorgeous saddle and does not look like it's 9 years old, the key with this saddle is to never ride in jeans and always keep it covered and clean. It's a quality saddle and fits my horse well, couldn't be happier.
Dislikes: The only thing I wish was different is the twist. I used to have an older Butet model with that lovely narrow twist which I loved. I think you can buy a new Antares with a narrow twist, but the normal size doesn't bother me as long as my stirrups are a certain length. If you like a narrow twist, make sure you try the Antares before you buy so your sure you like the feel of it.
Quality: lovely, lovely, lovely! The nicest saddle I have ever owned, there is a reason Antares is regarded as a top saddle company, it's gorgeous. I also have an Antares girth, very high quality and matches perfectly.
Summary: The best saddle I have ever owned. Fits all the criteria a saddle should. It fits, its well made, and its beautiful.
