Model: New Kent
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Purchased this saddle used at local tack store for $750.
Likes: Quality leather, big thigh blocks which really lock you in, super comfy seat for long rides on the trail, and also excellent for dressage work.
Dislikes: This saddle runs narrow and since I have an Arab/QH, and a Peruvian Paso, this saddle is too narrow for them. Slightly too narrow. I wish it was just a little bit wider in the gullet! Just a little bit! Other than that, it's super comfy to ride in and everything has held up like iron. Foam panels never need maintenance and the leather is just beautiful. I love my Zaldi - just need something wider, otherwise I would ride in it forever...
Quality: Excellent construction and very low maintenance. No problems whatsoever.
Summary: If you have a wide horse, this won't work for you. A true medium would work fine. Love this saddle so much too bad it's not wide enough.
