Purchase: I was looking for a saddle with better fit for my short back arab mare. Out trail riding I met a rider using a Sycamore Creek saddle on her paso. I contacted Tony from the site and he pointed out which saddles can be adapted to a trotting horse. The saddle was under $500.
Likes: The thing I like is the fit for both my horse and me. A very reputable saddle fitter (he's also a human and equine chiropractor) come out and assess the fit. He was amazed at the perfect fit and quality work for a saddle of this price. No more adjusting with this or that special pad, yea! Tony was wonderful, he was available by phone to guide me through the measuring process and pics to send. Now that we've lost the winter snow, I'm riding more and both my mare and I are super comfortable.
Dislikes: I waited to see what I'd dislike and can't find a thing. I did switch out the stirrups for barrel racing style as I like a narrower type.
Quality: Soft leather, well constructed and beautiful.
