Purchase: I bought my saddle used 2 years ago from a 3-day eventer who no longer had the horse it fit. I got it for $750, including stirrup leathers, irons, saddle pad and saddle cover.
Likes: It is the most comfortable synthetic saddle I have ever had the pleasure to ride in. It looks good, it's durable enough for the trails and I really love the over-girth. My horse is rolly-polly, so he needs a little extra support. At first I had my doubts about the over-girth, thinking it would be worthless and annoying. I was proved very wrong. :) I like the billets, they are easy to deal with. Very supple! I also like the adjustable gullet. My saddle, with just the wide gullet, fits most of my horses.
Dislikes: I think the only thing I don't like is that the stirrup bars are difficult to get leathers into. What stirrup bars aren't though?!
Quality: It is beautifully made. You can tell the designers took a lot of time and put some thought into their construction of the saddle.
Summary: I loved the saddle so much I bought a 2nd one! Never under-estimate the power of Wintec.
