Purchase: I bought this blanket off of horseloverz.com as a spring/fall blanket for the change of seasons. I paid around $70 including shipping.
Likes: It came in my horse's color, lime green, and it seemed well constructed. It fit her well and she didn't get any blanket rubs from it.
Dislikes: Within two days, the wither area of the blanket just split apart around 5" long. I had to drive home and bring out her rain sheet since this blanket was unusable. Just recently, I tried to repair the blanket with stick-on patches on the under and outside of the blanket. The barn owner called me and informed me that the blanket ripped further despite my repairs and that they had removed the blanket from my mare. They suggested I put her winter turnout back on.
Quality: At first, it seemed like a well-constructed blanket with good hardware, sturdy leg straps and overall good quality for the price paid. However, I was wrong.
Summary: I do not think this blanket is worth the gamble to buy. I do not know if mine was faulty but I do know someone with an older Abetta Arctic turnout and they have not suffered any rips or tears. I would not buy this blanket again. I would rather spend more money on a quality item.
