Purchase: This coat was purchased for around $120 from a Dover sale catalog. I bought it to replace my The Elite coat after out growing it. I believe that the regular price of this coat would be around $300 (just a not, this coat is NOT the Soft Shell or Melton coat, it is an older Platinum model)

Likes: This is a wonderful coat! The color is gorgeous. I bought it in a blue/navy/lilac plaid color and it is traditional enough for the hunter ring, yet is not "just another boring navy blue coat". It has held up great over the two years that I have had it. It has a nice stretch to it and is made of nice breathable material.

Dislikes: As is true in other hunt coats, the RJ Classics Platinum runs a bit small. I found that ordering one size larger worked for me.

Quality: The quality is great in this coat. The material is light but sturdy. Their attention to detail is amazing. The fit is traditional and as I mentioned before, if you just order one size up, you should be fine with size.

Summary: I'm not big on spending a lot on riding apparel, but this hunt coat would be an exception. I would not hesitate to pay full price on this coat. I've had many other hunt coats and this one beats them all!
