Purchase: This Saddle was given to me by a friend and cost around $350 dollars. I did not have an english saddle to use and this saddle was not being used, so my friend gave it to me.
Likes: It is a decent looking saddle from a distance, and the leather on the flaps is flexible.
Dislikes: This saddle is very cheap, you can get that from the price and just looking at it. The seat supposedly is leather, but I am pretty sure that it is pleather because it absorbs no oil. It is completely uncomfortable and I have a very hard time keeping it from sliding on my horse even when the girth is tightened to the max. If you were to use this saddle occasionally as a trail saddle it is a good buy for the price, but this saddle will never last more than maybe a year if you ride in it daily.
Quality: Poor quality, slippery pleather material. The stitching between the seat and the gullet is coming loose and I have only ridden maybe 50 rides to be generous.
Summary: You can get a way better saddle that will last you many years without replacement and be cheaper in the long run if you avoid inexpensive (cheap) saddles like this one.
