Manufacturer: Western Rawhide
Model: Roseau Reiner #1712
Category: Reining Saddles
Purchase: I got this saddle for about $1200 at my old lesson barn. I needed a better fitting saddle for my horse.
Likes: Its very well made. The leather is better then I expected, its not cheap what-so-ever. Very comfortable. I am going to using it as a pleasure saddle and it seemed to put me in a good position.
Dislikes: The fenders are pretty long. I had the stirrups on the last hole and they're still too long for me. I am only 5'4 though, but I've never had this problem before.
Quality: Good leather. I also believe that it has a leather covered wood tree. The barn I got the saddle at has being using Western Rawhides that are 20 + years old and still going strong.
Summary: Great saddle. If you want something nice like a Billy Cook but don't want to spend a lot of money look into Western Rawhides.
