Purchase: I bought this relatively unknown saddle off of ebay for $350. I took a chance on it because it looked nice and I couldn't afford much more than that.
Likes: This saddle is very secure and I feel like I could sit to anything. The leather is very high quality, soft and supple. Doing flat work and smaller jumps (4 ft and under) the saddle is extremely comfortable.
Dislikes: It's fairly well balanced but it tends to push my legs forward a bit on most horses whereas in other saddles I don't have this problem. Also the pommel can be a bit uncomfortable when jumping some bigger fences if you don't get out of the saddle quite enough but it's not nearly enough to make me say I don't like the saddle.
Quality: The leathers like I said is wonderful, very soft and smooth and any scuffs disappear with some rubbing and a bit of oil. It's very solidly made and I would be comfortable comparing it to the Steubben, Bates, and Albion jumping saddles I've used in the past.
Summary: Overall I absolutely love this saddle. I've had it for about six months now and ride in it at least once a week on all different builds of horses. So far I have not found a horse that it fits really badly, but I did find it slipped a bit on a downhill, low withered horse.
