For Sale on eBay

Manufacturer: Grainge by Saddleworld
Model: Grainge Elite
Category: Dressage Saddles

Purchase: I bought it off Ebay Australia, barely used for $800 unmounted. I needed a new dressage saddle that I could keep for many years to come. Since the Grainge brand was quite well known for their bridles, stirrup leathers etc, I thought that their saddles would be worth a try

Likes: I love the chunkiness of it!! The good sized knee blocks and the nice deep seat with wide panels make it really comfy for me and my horse. While it is made in Argentina, the leather quality is wonderful. I use it nearly everyday and there is virtually no rubbing on the flaps. The girth points are unstretched and still perfect. It puts me in a good position for dressage and the deep seat is very secure. I just love it!

Dislikes: If I was to be picky, I do find that sometimes I can slip into a slight "chair seat" when in rising trot. Not sure if its just me or if its the saddle?? But its only occassionally, so not a huge issue.

Quality: The leather is great quality, really soft and doesn't need a huge soak of oil when new. The girth points have webbing in the core so they don't stretch. I have a wide gullet one which seems to have fit the horses I have had it on i.e TB and a barrell pony. And best of all, after being ridden in nearly everyday for the last 8 months, still looks virtually new!

Summary: I am told they retail for $2000, so even for that money, they are very much worth it! High quality, comfy for horse and rider and lasts a long time. Best dressage saddle Ive ridden in
