Purchase: I bought this product (my second one) from Chicks Saddlery for $59.99 in April 2011.
Likes: My horse is comfortable and cool, and his big thoroughbred withers are no longer an issue. The saddle stays put during mounting, and doesn't budge! No matter what he does.
Easy to clean, just hose it off with water and hang up to dry. This pad holds its shape and has held up well for over 200 trail miles. I bought a second pad so that I could switch 'em out, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the original.
Dislikes: Horse sweats buckets, but his back is always cool and never sore.
Wish it came in more colors, but I really have no complaints about the craftsmanship or quality.
Quality: Flexible, with a generous curve to fit even high withered horses. Lays flat behind the saddle and creates a polished, classy look.
Beautiful microsuede top, with leather wear strips and a strong nylon edging, coupled with the equigrip waffle/pebble bottom make this pad one of THE BEST I have ever bought.
Summary: Yes. Buy it. You will not be sorry and your horses will thank you for it.
