Purchase: I have 4 of the Professionals Choice SMX all around saddle pads purchased at our local tack shop. They were $119 each. These pads are great for reducing impact on your horses back, allowing it to form to the bars of your saddle and the horse's back to enable distribution of the riders weight and reduce sore spots on your horse's back.
Likes: I ride for long hours at a time and my horses never get a sore back! I have a Quarter Horse gelding that is very thin skinned, and he always got sore with a standard saddle pad, with this saddle pad he is never sore!
Dislikes: Wish it came in more color choices.
Quality: This pad is made from pure wool to keep your horse's back cool.
Summary: My husband and I both use the SMX saddle pad on our horses. This pad allows to maintain a cool back with long hours in the saddle. We love these pads and so do our horses! Thank you Professional Choice for another great product!
