Purchase: Custom Saddlery made a jumping saddle for me, and the quality, style, fit and comfort is amazing! Doing business with Carey Wallace was a pleasure, and he made certain I was pleased with every detail. Anyone who has sat in my saddle has stated, "it's the most comfortable saddle" they've every used". While comfortable, it also gives one a real sense of security.
Likes: Everything...deep seat, secure knee rolls and thigh blocks, soft leather.
Dislikes: Nothing...tried numerous saddles and nothing compares to this Custom Saddlery saddle.
Quality: The quality of this saddle is impressive. It is solid and sturdy; the billet straps and sweat flaps are top-of-the-line---no inexpensive short cuts anywhere.
Summary: I spent months researching and trying many high end saddles, and was very particular in what I wanted for me and my horse. A jump judge mentioned Custom Saddlery, so I called them and became their first jump saddle customer. Not only did CS visit w/me several times, but made me a prototype I could use and and have amended so my final product would be perfect!
