Purchase: paid about $1100 for a custom saddle about 10 years ago. i had it made because i needed a lighter weight wade style saddle due to an injury.Double H Ranch Saddle shop is in Laporte colorado.
Likes: everything. it was wonderful. only weighed 21#s. comfy, well made, strong. awesome. recently when i had a new horse they tried to adjust the bars to fit my new horse who happened to be a peruvian with a very strange back.this saddle had fit many horses well over the years, but this horse had the worst back i had ever encountered it did not work. ( my original horse was a 16 h sport horse and this was a 14.2 short backed peruvian. marc did try to make it work and for a reasonable price.
Dislikes: nothing not to like, is a great saddle.
Quality: awesome. you have to see a picture of them to see how many wonderful features it had.
Summary: worth every penny and more. sold it after 10 years use for what i paid for it. i have to ride peruvians now and it was just too long for my short backed peruvians.
