Purchase: I rode in my trainer's vega monoflap and both my horse and I went to another level. Only after the fourth time using this saddle did it become clear that the saddle is what made a huge difference in both my balance and my horse's balance. At the time all stores were offering the saddle at 3,150.00. Adam's Horse Supply was the only store that offered a free Vespucci Bridle along with free shipping. Subsequently, the price of this saddle has gone up.
Likes: I am perfectly balanced in this saddle. When I ride I do not even think about the saddle. After not jumping for twenty years, four feet is no problem. This saddle is angled back so as not to put any pressure on my horse's withers. This saddle has also freed up my horse's shoulder and allowed her hind legs to reach underneath creating more balance in her movement.
Dislikes: I love this saddle. I have found no faults.
Quality: The construction of the vega monoflap seems to be of the highest quality. We shall see over time.
Summary: The Amerigo Vega Monoflap has made the riding experience more balanced in both rider and horse. Not only is the saddle safer because of better balance it is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden.
