Manufacturer: Alamo (View all products by Alamo Saddlery)
Model: Honeycomb Barrel Saddle (View all Honeycomb Barrel Saddle reviews)
Category: Barrel Saddles
Purchase: Bought my saddle used locally.
Likes: This saddle is lightweight. Great color/bling options in this price range. Very comfortable to ride in. Fits many horses. Great all around barrel saddle.
Dislikes: No saddle is perfect but there's nothing really negative that stands out. If I were a hardcore barrel racer I would go with a custom higher priced barrel saddle. However, this saddle is perfect for the average barrel racer.
Quality: Decent construction. Not as great as the 1,500-2,000 barrel saddles but same/better quality as saddles in the 1,000-1,500 new price range.
Summary: Alamo barrel saddles(just the barrel saddles) are very nice middle class saddles. I have had Rocking R, Tex Tan, Circle Y, High Horse, Billy Cook, and other middle class barrel saddles. This saddle is just as well made as those listed above.
Usefulness Rating: 3.4 out of 5.
