Purchase: I got a free sample of these treats at Rolex. I don't normally buy horse treats, but even the picky OTTBs liked them so much, that I picked up a bucket of them from Brumfield Hay & Grain for $9.99.
Likes: These treats are like horse crack! Even my hard to catch TB come running when he sees the little white bucket. When he lost his halter in the big field I spent an hour trying to catch him with no luck. The next day I brought out the Nicker Makers and had him in 10 minutes. The treats are obviously tasty and are easy to feed and carry around.
Dislikes: They're a little greasy, so they will leave a few oily crumbs in your pocket, but they're not sticky or particularly crumbly. I also wish the lid of the bucket was easier to open.
Quality: The treats are an easy to feed shape. They hold together well. The horses love them. They come in a handy little bucket.
Summary: I normally feed peppermints as treats, but the picky horses love these so much, I guess I'll be buying more!
