Dislikes: It doesn't fit the horse it was made and ordered for. It wont stay in position no matter how tight the cinch is.The saddle came with a 30 day "no questions asked" return but since it was received in the dead of winter the owner of Hill View told us not to worry about the time frame as she would fix it and make it fit correctly. Numerous photos were sent numerous times to the maker and numerous phone conversations were exchanged in attempts to get the saddle to fit. It was even sent back to the maker at our expense for numerous "fixes" that she reassured would definitely take care of the NO fit problems. Absolutely NOTHING worked and of course since the 30 day return period was burned up trying to "fix" it Hill View Farms refused to take the saddle back and return any money. STAY AWAY FROM HILL VIEW FARMS AMERICAN FLEX.
Quality: Construction is mediocre. The slightest contact with the leather leaves scratches and nicks.
Summary: We recommend staying away from Hill View Farms American flex saddles. They are quite expensive, don't fit to the point of being dangerous and the customer "service" is appalling. There is a written return policy but DO NOT expect them to honor it because they will run you in circles until the return time is expired then drop all contact leaving you with a $3000 paper weight. It is amazing that unethical saddle makers like Hill View Farms have no interest in having satisfied customers. The 1 rating is only because there is nothing lower.
