Bought on line from Adams Pet and Horse Supplies for $575.95 (plus free girth/stirrup irons, stirrup leathers)
Bought it as a second saddle: light weight, comfy (Air Cushion System), for trail riding
Likes: Wintec is known for its top quality synthetic saddle construction, and this saddle does not disappoint! I bought it for my Tennessee Walker as a second saddle choice because I LOVE my Stubben Gaited saddle, but it is heavy and I wanted a lightweight option. PLUS, I wanted to put Peacock stirrup irons on the Wintec when I ride all alone (safety stirrups). It is very comfortable for me and for my horse. He is medium sized with small shoulders - I would not buy this for a larger horse even though one can change the gullet size.The saddle is shaped for the gaited horse, however.
Dislikes: The only warning I would give is that this saddle is for a smallish to medium sized horse, one who has thin shoulders and a moderate wither.
Quality: Top notch stitching and materials used on all Wintecs. It is perfect!
Summary: Since it is a second saddle, and I just go out on trails, it is perfect for me and my horse as a lightweight and fun alternative to my glorious - yet heavier - Stubben Gaited saddle (which I adore!)
