Purchase: I found this saddle at a tack shop on consignment. I was looking for a second Albion for my daughter. She had been complaining of her little saddle being too slippery (she's in 2nd grade) and she was starting to outgrow it anyway. I decided I'd find another Albion for me and give her the one I was using. She'll be able to keep it for a long time and grow into it without growing out of it and she fits in it fine except for the flaps being too long for her legs.
Likes: I absolutely love the Albions. Before finding my first Albion I was riding in a high end Italian made hunter saddle and have also ridden in the high-end French saddles and other popular brands. The made-in-England Albion far surpasses these French and Italian saddles in quality. I love the soft supple leather, I love the seat, I love the panels for the horse, I love the way the saddle is made and it will last forever. I bought both saddles used. So soft and cushy for the rider and so comfy for the horse.
Dislikes: nothing.
Quality: Well-constructed saddle and can't say enough good things about it. High quality. I'm glad I tried an Albion after trying countless saddles/brands. I'm sold.
Summary: If you try this brand, you will see the light in the english saddle world.
