Model: Hunter Close Contact Saddle
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I got my saddle from the local tack shop and paid $1,000. I really needed a new saddle and did tons of research and almost bought one off E-bay for much cheaper, but I'm glad I didn't because I love this saddle!
Likes: The color is pretty, its not just dark brown but a reddish dark brown and the gold accents make it look more expensive. People at the barn let me try their very expensive saddles since I was looking to buy one but my Ovation is the most comfortable of all of them, plus my old saddle gave me bad back aches and now I never get them with my new saddle!
Dislikes: Go ahead and oil the gullet straps before you even use it. They are stiff and the first few times it was hard to put on the girth. Other than that, I LOVE this saddle!
Quality: Didn't notice any marks for the first 2 or 3 weeks and after that just the normal boot marks. Well made.
Summary: By far the most comfortable saddle out there! Well made and its pretty, I love this saddle!
Usefulness Rating: 2.66667 out of 5.
