Purchase: I ordered this saddle on-line in July,2011 from windswephorse.com and the cost was $759.00 with free shipping. I read every review I could find on this saddle and it became very confusing. Some people talked about the odd orange color of the leather and some said it was a beautiful brown color. I ordered a medium width and an 18 inch seat.
The company contacted me to make sure that this saddle would fit me and my horse. Thank goodness for that! After doing a wither measure and a few of my measurements I needed a wide tree for my horse and a 17 inch seat for me. The saddle came and it fits me with room and my horse too.
Likes: The saddle is a beautiful brown color with white stitching; the seat is very comfortable. I feel very safe with the deep seat. I can carry it on one arm so it is very easy for me to saddle up my horse.
Dislikes: The irons seems to rub the color off easily. The color does not rub off on your clothes or anything like that.
Quality: I have a 10 year warranty on the tree. I checked it all over and it looks like a good quality saddle. The side panels are a little stiff but I have oiled them and they are softening up rather quickly.
Summary: I looked at used saddles and decided to spend a hundred more and get a new one. I am very please with my purchase.
