Purchase: I bought these boots for $600 at dover saddlery for final sale, imported from Italy.
Likes: The boots are super, super comfortable with comfortable soles, various sizes(also custom) and heights, and really soft supple leather that breaks in really quickly. Easy to clean and take care of, GREAT show boots. Elastic laces that dont need to be tied (very professional look with the comfort of field boots).
Dislikes: Nothing but the high price. They are fantsatic quality boots that will last me many many years to come. I love them despite the price, btu do reserve their use to shows only.
Quality: Excellent!!!! Soft, soft leather, smooth and comfortable. Very easy to break in, and they don't wrinkle at the ankle and give blisters or rub (major bonus) but they drop down enough to fit an average leg height.
Summary: Really superb boots (despite $) and if you're looking to make a great, comfortable show inverstment, this is it. These boots are top quality made in italy by charles owen, and are starting to be carried by more and mroe placed in the states
