Purchase: I went to Dover Saddlery to sit in some Wintec saddles. I bought this one and paid around $500 for this saddle.
Likes: It's pretty comfy. I like the changeable gullet feature. It's nice and pretty easy to change. The knee rolls are comfy and padded and it has a removable/adjustable blocks under the knee rolls. I like the security of the deeper seat as well. The flaps haven't worn at all from the stirrup leathers. It's great not having to oil it or even clean it much at all. Just while it off with a little soap and water.
Dislikes: It gets really hot in the sun even if you are out of the saddle for a minute or less, it's quite squeaky, and the knee rolls with and without the blocks are VERY thick. I have only legs and I still don't fit right in an 18" seat. It also doesn't put me in a great position.
Quality: The quality is nice. I've had it for a year and it still looks like new. The billets haven't stretched any.
Summary: This is a good saddle for people that don't want to spend a lot of money but want a decent saddle. I personally won't buy this specific saddle again, because it doesn't fit me, but I will probably try out the Wintec dressage saddles in the future.
