Purchase: I bought this saddle second hand from a very nice rich lady whose kids "didn't want to jump anymore", her loss my gain, with a little dickering I bought it for 600$ with tags never been on a horse. Worth 1200$ from what I've seen. It was my upgrade saddle.
Likes: I 100% love this saddle! Soft thick leather, very nice looking, didn't even need breaking in! Puts you in a great position for jumping! Love the deep seat you wont go flying when you jump a monster or your horse throws a high ball at you. I love the Ultra-suede knee pads great for a little extra! I have the 31.5" tree and it fit both my QH's, warmbloods, and arabs. Very nice narrow twist, quite comfortable for a stubben. Very close contact! Very light!
Dislikes: Fits a little small for a 16". The billets are a little short. Me knees hang over the knee roles a good 3" (I am 5'10" with a 38" inseam though :p)! It looks really small if your tall and ride a big horse!
Quality: Deep seat, Soft thick leather, nicely padded for close contact, square cantle, high narrow pommel, Very tough, going to get better with age. Amazing quality!
Summary: I would recommend this saddle for anyone with shorter legs than mine! Great training saddle, but it is a working saddle so not to comfy on the touchy! I love this saddle and wish they made the in bigger sizes!
